If you want to make a difference in this world, your own backyard is where it begins. That why I choose ethical products for my twins!
ReplyDeleteBuying ethical products allows me to treat other people with the respect that I hope they will show me and my family.
ReplyDeleteI am all for eco friendly baby products, not only to make my difference in the world but if it means putting less chemicals on my baby I'm all for it!
ReplyDeleteI have signed up to both Mudd Kids and Kids Astralia Newsletters and really look forwarde to reading them :)
I've signed up to both :o)
ReplyDeleteAnd I choose ethical products for my children because I believe in setting a good example and hopefully in the future they will do the same for their children.
I do lots of research trying to find organic, eco friendly products for me and my baby. It will be great to have a place to come to where it is all in one place. It is one of the nicest things to know you have put something natural on your skin or that your baby is chewing on something that is safe and non-toxic.
ReplyDeleteI have signed up to both newsletters, looking forward to hearing about all your products!
What a great comp. I am really interested in buying fair trade for all the usual reasons - safety, sustainability and environmental. I'm also keen cos I signed up to the Global Poverty Project petition www.globalpovertyproject.com saying I would research Fair Trade products wherever possible as part of ending Global poverty. I am really looking forward to hearing more about all the products and services. Yay!
ReplyDeleteEthical products are important because of the environmental mess the world is in with climate change, ozone problems, carbon emissions and the like. Plus being ethically made results in fair work agreements for the employed or disadvantaged ones. Organic clothing helps me get a better handle on my bub's very sensitive excema skin.
ReplyDeleteEthical products are a must. We all need to make a difference in our ever so changing world, make it a better place. I have two children who I cherish teaching them great beliefs is a start, to changing our world.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! thanks for the chance. I realised last night after Pep trashed Coopers room that we need to downsize on the plastic toys and invite more handmade wooden items into our playroom, so much better to recycle/upcycle and asthetically pleasing too. All in all better for all people involved in all levels of creations.
ReplyDeleteArtists and creators of ethical/fair trade products often produce things that are reflective of their origins, giving us all an insight into their way of life, a chance to learn and know that we a contributing to trying to make everyone's place in the world safer and fairer. A chance to have something a little bit different whilst making a little bit of difference for someone else and the earth
ReplyDeleteEthical products are good, because at base, companies generally care about making a profit. So if you want them to do nice things, you need to make it profitable for them to do nice things. Buying ethical products proves to companies that we care about where we get our stuff, and encourages them to clean up their act accordingly. This is one of the many reasons why I prefer to buy ethical and fair trade products.
ReplyDeleteI believe making changes starts at home so Ive been trying to teach my girls to treat others the way they would like to be treated as well as look after the Earth as its the only planet we have, I want my grandchildren to still have rainforests and reefs to enjoy as I have. Also, all the fair trade products I've gotten have been top quality.
ReplyDeleteIt's never too early to give children a global conscience!
ReplyDeleteEthical products let you have a conscience while still dressing your child in adorable clothes!
ReplyDeleteIf we all said the problem was too big, it would just grow bigger. Acting ethically starts with one and spreads to many! If I can start with choosing ethical products for my child, I know eventually it can make a world of difference!
ReplyDeleteMy child only deserves natures purest and eco-friendliest products. Looking after our environment and workers will have a steady and positive effect on the world! (Jules @ Bobyblackboards)
ReplyDeleteAs a big family we make a considerable impact on the world, but not always in a degrading way. We have more power to share the message of global consciousness to everybody we come in to contact with, and one of the ways we can do that, is to start with our own conscious choices about the products we purchase. Have to say I think that ethical products are often more visually appealing too!
ReplyDeleteEthical choices now, will reap for our children a rich inheritance of a healthy abundant earth and equality across tribes and nations in both financial independence and access to education. What greater gift can I give my child than a future as rich as this?
ReplyDeleteI choose ethical products for my child because everything we do has an effect on the planet and I want have a positve impact which I hope to pass on to my children.
ReplyDeleteI have only recently begun using these products but I believe that we are the best teachers for our own children and that our influence is the biggest on their lives. I just want to know that I have started that journey for them, and hope that they carry it on for themselves and their children to come...
ReplyDeleteI have only just started becoming more eco aware i belive we should all have eco eductaion. Being eco aware has a great good imapact on our lives , ihave signed up for both newsletters as well
ReplyDeleteChloe
I have signed up for both newsletters.
ReplyDeleteI like to chose ethical products for my kids as well as my business, as I believe if we support businesses doing the right thing it might deter the others taking the easier options.
Gotta set a good example! It's important to make our kids aware that the choices we make as consumers make a difference to peoples lives and to the world that we live in.
ReplyDeleteI choose ethical options where i can as i know the manufacturers, often in third world countries gat their fair share, Pay it forward.
